It did not work. I downloaded the bluetooth drivers for my computer for win XP. Using the guidliunes on this forum, I ran it on compatibility mode, but it did not instal, saying it is for XP and 2000 only.

have you tried using windows update? i have integrated bluetooth on my HP and win7 x64 and the driver from windows update works fine (well its an incomplete stack but it shows up correctly on the taskbar and device manager). To get the complete working bluetooth i downloaded BELKIN BTW 6.0.1Vista driver and now i can use my bt headset and bt phone with no problems.

Thanks for the tip, but The basic problem that I have is, that the bluetooth device cannot be found by the instaler. I checked the BIOS if the device is turned on, and it is. So it seems that the problem is that i cannot make the device visable fot the instaler.
