Its a gift and a curse. When I do something, a lot of the time its all or nothing, unfortunately not everything works like that though. I'm working on it lol

The only thing that won't be changed is the CPU, Motherboard, and Ram. I'll probably use the 9800 gx2 till I figure out what I want to get/when I can get it. And how much I can get for it it, had an offer for 120 on Craigslist, should have taken it probably, I thought it sold for more at the time but the guy was rude anyways.

After looking at newegg, I really just wanna upgrade my entire system but I can't at the moment anyways so I'm just gunna have to down in my own pity. If I did upgrade my Motherboard, CPU, Graphics Card, and Ram it would be another 2g or so. But I do need to upgrade my video card either way, and I do not know if waiting for the GTX 520 will be worth it from a price/performance stand point.

Again the GTX 480 is something I'd like but may not be something I would take full advantage of.\ So what would be a viable option? Getting a cheaper but better card or just dishing out for the 480/520 and facing the same thing in a year or so that I am now.

Received the two packages from NewEgg today, one being the case, the other being the power supply etc... I have to be somewhere at 9 tomorrow so I'm thinking of holding off on opening um up since I don't have off till Saturday and Sunday.

BUT I THINK I get paid this Saturday so a graphics card is probably in order in the near future, or the IPS monitor.

I have 32" LG LCD TV and it was around 600 I think. After seeing the difference I think it would be worth it in the long run. You can have a tv and a cheaper monitor but the last monitor I had I gave to my dad and that's after useing it for like 4 years. So I think personally it would be a good investment. And it seems like the technology does not change as fast for monitors as it does for computer tech, which changes practically daily, so that it wouldn't be out-dated as fast so I could use it further into the future. That's my logic, be it good or bad. I can understand that people don't want to pay that much or a screen when they could have a new tv or even a laptop or something but it is true, why cut corners when you spend so much on your machine in the first place? Unless it is really unnecessary.

Now that you mention it, I'd agree with the go with the tv idea.

    Huh?

After sleeping most the day yesterday and waking up late today most of it is together, its just missing the stuff I still need plus I need to put in the fan controller, and cd drives. I must say the case is way WAY better than my old one. Problem is now I want to upgrade everything but I'm trying to reuse what I can.

So most everything has worked out ok, I wish I had the money to just build a new system but I don't so I'm makin due with what I got. The power supply seems to be workin so far, the H 70 installed ok, and the case thought through very well.

Down side is, the AeroCool 1000 doesn't seem to mount in the case I guess I will be without any type of thermal display as I had hoped. And the Rosewill card reader does needs an additional USB porton my motherboard which I do not have since the front of the case takes up both ports with its 4 usb slots.

As for the two cd-rom drives, they are both sata which I am not familiar with as far as cd-rom drives go. I'll have to mess around with them tomorrow but they seem like they will work fine.

Besides that I just need to spring for the monitor and a 400 series card and hopefully I'll be content for a while. After looking at some configurations some people had on the Corsair forums (was looking for answers) it kinda made me disappointed with my current configuration but not much I can do.
