hi there,
everytime I try a new setting a have to wait a couple of hours, because the problem happens when the computer is turn off several hours, so this morning I turn it on and the problem is there...

Ah!!, Sandra said this:
Vcore setting higher than rated maximun. Check Vcore voltage!

CPU FSB speed higher than rated FSB! Reduce FSB speed.

Should we consider this??

thanks
Well I don't know why it's mentioning the FSB being higher because you've not touched the FSB, and CPU-Z shows it's at stock speeds still.

What voltage have you got the CPU set at in BIOS at the moment?
What you see in the bios picture, and have tried many voltages, as you said to experiment.

Have you had chance to try the RAM timings I said yet?

Sorry to POST in this OLD thread after a long time... Recently i was looking for a solution and saw this thread....
Actually i want some answers and solutions....
Everlong bro, recently i just got a 750i sli mobo (used for 3+ years) and running a Core 2 Duo E8400 in it... It works just fine... but when i put a QUAD CORE Q8400 in this mobo, it freezes in the starting WINDOWS logo or in the WELCOME screen, and after that when i restarts the PC, nothing comes in the display and the DEBUG led indicator shows "CO" in it.
I have gone through all the ^^ replies and procedures, but setting the CPU voltage and NB voltage didn't get me any solution, and the problem remains....
Also my BIOS version is 1.1B3... didn't found any LATEST bios as this mobo is outdated/discontinued product of XFX.
Q.1) Can any 1 give me a solution to run the QUAD processor in this mobo?
Q.2) Where can i get a latest BIOS of this mobo?? Is there any 1 here who have it or know any LINKS to get me the latest BIOS?
Q.3) Does the BIOS update will help to overcome this problem?
Last of all, again SORRY to post in this OLD thread. Hope to hear some good news from you guys.
