Windows Touch - What kinds of touchscreens?

Hi, I have installed Windows 7 on a computer with a 5-wire resistive touch screen (a Planar PT1500MX). I was hoping to be able to use the multi-touch features of Windows 7, but am having no luck. I wonder if this is inherent in the sort of touchscreen I'm using, or if a new or altered version of the driver would allow this screen to work with Windows 7's advanced "multi-touch" features.

I wonder if someone could lay out, clearly, the different sorts of touch-screens and which ones will work with Windows 7.

    Thanks very much,
    Jon

The hardware itself has to support Multi-Touch and be compatible with Windows 7. You'd need to check the hardware manufacturer's website.

I would check out this link: Multi-touch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
