    Building a New Gaming PC

Right, where do i start from, i've been wondering lately to make a gaming PC, but i'm not sure what i should buy. So, today i ask everyone which build would be good. My am willing to spend £600-£700 British Pounds. So i think it's alright for that money. I want a full set for the price i am going to pay. Monitor isn't really something i'd worry about. but if it comes fully then i'll be good.

    Thank you Everyone!

I am not compiling the whole pc for you but i have just now assembled my own..

As you want it under 700 pounds
    i recommend AMD Phenom X4 965(instead of an i7)
ATI Radeon HD 5850 or two ATI 5770 Crossfired
Take an MSI 9xxx series for the MObo
    and oh!!
Mouse which is very important if you play FPS games Online..Take a Death Adder V2 if possible
And G.Skill Gaming Series Ram (Important it should be the one with 1333 Mhz) this ram is awesome!!
Cabinet Antec 300 or Cooler Master of your choice suiting your budget:)

    I agree with youllbelost

For a budget build, a AMD build will certainly be the best route. As such, the AM3 socket will be the prefered build. And ATI video cards.
DDR3 1333 also is what Id shoot for as anything slower really isnt worth it IMO, as DDR2 will be just as good due to lower latencies.

Gigabyte makes good motherboards at reasonable prices, and Gskill is excellent RAM at a good Price point.

Also remember, the HD is the biggest bottle neck in any system.
If you can fit it in your budget I would recommend running a OCZ Vertex or Intel X25-V SSD for the OS & programs ONLY.

Grab another spinning drive to hold all your games, Pictures, Music, Video, Documents.

This will truly help your system a great deal.

Multiple GPUS arent really needed so much IMO. However, if you want them, you can always start w/one and upgrade to a Cross-Fire System later down the line.
IMHO, youd be better off with a SSD as the OS/App Drive , spinning drive for all else, and a single GPU to start with as opposed to multiple GPUS.

Since your not in the US. The first thing I like to ask is where are you planning on purchasing your parts from?Online if so would you link us to to some sites? Why? Because not all the parts available to U.S. buyers are for you. Knowing what is will help in finding the best parts for your money. converted it comes to what about 1,039.26 US dollars? Should be able to build something nice. Also want to through in what is often over looked a quality power supply. To me it's the core of your build, without one nothing will get the power need to function to it's fullest.IMO Thanks Fabe P.S. I was told this is a pretty good site http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/

I am a member over at [H]ard|Forum - Powered by vBulletin and this is what everyone answers first when asking for build advice.

If you're gonna ask us to build/list a PC for you or seek advice about a build, please answer all of the following questions:

    1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
    2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
    3) Where do you live?
    4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.
    5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
    6) Will you be overclocking?
    7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
    8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
    9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.
    10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? 32bit or 64bit?

By answering these questions you help us help you build a PC that's of better quality, better performing, cheaper or all of the above.
