disk management problem

    disk management problem


    i can extend F drive from my C drive.
    but i can not extend my E drive from neither of my drive [from D drive and F drive]

    suggest me to extend my E drive

    here is the screenshot.

    Hard for me to read ... but ... it looks like from your screenshot that you already have four primary partitions assigned. IF that's true, and you're trying create another -- you can't. Four Primaries is the maximum number.

    Also, from the same screenshot, it doesn't look like you have any unallocated space. It looks like your entire drive is allocated. Thus, there's no free space for you to extend a partition into.

    I see only 3 primaries. But that does not matter in this case anyhow. You first have to shrink some unallocated space from C. Then you can add it to F. But with Disk Management you cannot do that. However, Partition Wizard can do it.

    i have done that but after restart my c and d drive dissappears and changed as unallocated.

    i have take backup yesterday. but it interrupts in last. how can i restore it from my backup
