Wifi button install
Hello lovely people. I`ve had my 7535g for 9 months now and after 2 dodgy months at the start all is pretty good.
However, one of the reasons for my getting one was that it came with an upgrade to windows 7. Unfortunately it`s the 32 bit home edition. So not only do I have a reduced version but my system is 64 bit.
Having already suffered and bested the upgrade to 7 before I feel ready for this.
There are a couple of issues that I`ll have tho so I`ve come here for some advice.
The 7535g is pretty standard apart from a user programmable button above the kboard and 3 user buttons to the left.
I found the software to install the programmable one, Launch Manager.
But the other 3, for wifi, bluetooth and backup, were installed by the original acer 32bit upgrade kit. These are the ones I need help with. When used they display a cool icon to notify you that they`ve been activated.
I`ve tried to get help from Acer but all they`ll offer is a set of disks for £50 which contain the original vista setup and no info.
So is there anybody who`s managed to do it out there?
Here`s hoping, Stoo :)
