Should i do some thing or not?

    i dont know which brand the key board is
    laptop is nec versa
    do i have to find out the keyboard brand first
    please give a hint

    You won't get a mini dump until you have another BSOD. Keep using the keyboard and let's see what happens. If you get another BSOD, upload the dump file to us and we will take a look. If your system is running OK, we can assume the keyboard is working. It is just not supported by Win 7. You do have to know that brand and model of the keyboard to search for drivers. It should be on the bottom of your keyboard.

    If not, click on the Start button > type "msinfo" (without the quotation marks) > click on "msinfo32.nfo". In the left side of the msinfo screen, expand Components by clicking on the +. Now click on the + beside "Input" and click on "Keyboard". This should give you the brand of your keyboard.

    Are you talking about the keyboard on the NEC Versa Laptop or did you plug another keyboard into it?
    Please give us the model number of the laptop and we will try to find drivers for it

    ITS THE ORIGINAL BUILTIN KEY BOARD FOR NEC VERSA P8100.
    I CHECKED IN THE SYSTEM IT SAYS:

    ther were no restore points created when i checked a few days back
    but now restore is functioning.
    Please see whats possible
