Sli motherboards ?

    Sli motherboards ?


    What would be the best 2 way SLI motherboard wich would support ddr3 ram and i7 CPU and would be inaf good for looong time .
    Since i haw problems with money atm planing to slowly buy the parts 1by1 and mout important for me is a motherboard what will support latest futures for long time .

    There are Socket 1366 and 1156 I7 CPUs. Which do you want?

    Socket 1156 boards are in general less expensive, but their price ranges overlap.

    The main thing that you get with 1366 and the I7s that go with it is the triple channel RAM capability.

    Planing to get socket 1366 motherboard but they are to many and knowing my mistakes i always choose wrong one so please recommend somthing what will be good for long time

    And dual x16 slots I believe. Last time i checked the p55 only has have x8 x8 dual card options. Which again should not be a big deal, its all PCIe 2.0 anyways.

    Depending on your budget, two of the best budget x58 motherboards are the Asus Sabertooth and the Gigabyte X58a UD3R. They compete very well against the 300+ dollar x58 motherboards

    I don't own one, but the Sabertooth looks like a good deal, as you suggest.

    (I find the style of reviews there to be a little annoying, but this looks like a relative bargain for an X58 board.)

    ASUS TUF Sabertooth X58 review wasnt able to find in my country shops so gues i will stay with Gigabyte X58a UD3R
