Windows 7: System temp

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

NightHawk made a good point, and it is quite possible it could be a false reading
Or even reporting another sensor.

I had feeling is its the PWM area.
Look in this general area as seen in the snip. Not your board, but will be similar.

Some actually have heatsinks there, other dont.

If you do have Heatsinks, then it may not be seated correctly or something along that line.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Thanks for all the help. I added a fan to blow across the pwm area but it didnt change the readings. So it has to be a false reading. I used everest and it doesnt even show that system temp. My north and southbridges are in the 50's celcius so I think I am good. Thanks again.

Have you tried PC Wizard 2010 to see what that shows for system as well as cpu and vpu temps?

In the 50Cs is still a bit warm. Adding the fan in was still a good move even if you didn't notice any large change however. The cooler you keep a board the better off you will be in the long run.
