Howling..I haven't done anything to it. Just responding to posts.

I know you haven't done anything to it nor do I want you to do anything with it.
I have the same situation on my desk top and I don't mess with it. I even forget it exists.

By the way.....Welcome to 7 Forums and enjoy all the tutorials that are you to review!

Then I second The Wolves. Leave it alone.

You can burn a set of recovery disks with most systems. The recovery disks do the same thing as the recovery partition. Then you could look into deleting the partition and extending the C: drive into it. But be sure to read up on doing this and decide if that's a good option for you before you do anything.

Coming back to the topic, if its a recovery partition then find a file called media.bin and delete it.

Interesting- I'm having exact same issue with D drive. I've never put any files there but it's almost full now and I've only had this HP since April.

What happens when it's full...?? Will I have trouble using my computer..?

Anyway..I deleted all but most recent restore point, cleaned all old files, ran the crap cleaner and de fragmented it and still no additional memory there in D drive.

Should I even be worrying about this..?

    Thanks for the help
