When it comes to choosing what ram to run on your board I like to refer you to the board manufacturers site and download the manual it will show you in the Qualified Vendors List what Ram modules the manufacturer lists as compatible for your board. This list can be found in chapter 2 of your manual.

This list is usually comprised of Ram that has been tested with your board and found to not have any foreseeable issues. And run at their advertised specs.
You'll also read in chapter 2 which slots to populate to run various combinations of modules in Triple channel mode.

I have uploaded your manual and scanned with MSE(No viruses found) to RapidShare,(you'll have to use free account and wait for the timer to run down to download the manual) just to make things easier for you.
Hope this will help. Fabe

It says "You may install one memory module in slot A1,B1 or C1 as a single chanel operation.
2 DIMMS A1,B1(DUAL CHANEL OPERATION)
3 DIMMS A1,B1,C1 (TRIPLE CHANEL OPERATION)
4 DIMMS A2,A1,B1,C1 (TRIPLE CHANEL OPERATION)
6 DIMMS A2,A1,B2,B1,C2,C1 (TRIPLE CHANEL OPERATION)

So i can just get the exact same kit of 2x2gig and put in 4 slots to still get triple chanel

I have used Crucial for years. They are owned by Micron who makes the memory chips. On the first screen put in you system spec and it will list all their memory that is guaranteed to run on you system. Will give their prices also and then you can shop around for the best deal. I use their Ballistic line which is the better line.

RAM Memory Upgrade: Dell, Mac, Apple, HP, Compaq. USB drives, flash cards, SSD at Crucial.com

That is how I read those specs also. Be sure the new kit matches the old kit. Speed, Cl settings and voltage. Some time the manufacture will change the settings and that is where the problems start.
