CPU Not running at full potential.

    Well the AMD Cool n Quiet , and i quote, "Isnt supported on this OS"

    I'll have a look into the flash update bios. I'll put it on a USB and update like i did to my one.

    i just read multiplier is supposed to be x16 gonna go double check some other places. I can barely read the cpu specs u posted, but it looks like urs is set to x4

    Ah, the picture should enlarge but yeah, the multiplier is supposed to be x16... (~3.2ghz). The computer im on atm is x8 but its got a higher BUS Speed but that info is totally irrevelant.

    Ive gone into the bios and ive manually set the multiplier to x16 and it doesnt make a difference what so ever. Ive even tried lower values. Im still getting around to attempting a bios update but i cant find my damn USB thumb drive.

    Hello,

    I don't know if this could help, but you can try RMClock. I use that on my Q6600 because Windows doesn't like my motherboard and it doesn't lower the clock frequency at idle. So, I take the control with RMClock.
