[solved] Can't set up wifi card
[this is about xp] sorry if off-topic, I didn't know where else to go
So I have this old toshiba tecra m2 with ubuntu. I like it, but there's things I need from windows. So I installed 7. BIG mistake. Slow as hell. Then I install XP MCE over it. Works well, but no drivers are installed, so I install the driver for it, and plug in my belkin usb wifi b/g adapter. It connects me and all. So I install a driver for my real internal wifi card (Intel PRO wireless 7100) from toshiba over the wifi connection from the usb adapter. It says it works, so I reboot it without the adapter plugged in. Now it doesn't detect the intel card. It still says 1394 Connection, and the wifi configurator (I switched to XP's) doesn't show up. The sound and graphics cards work.
The weird thing (not weird, better) is ubuntu used all of this OTB (except SD slot which Windows used OTB xD)
And anyone know where to get a trackpad driver (no scrolling is killing me)
Solved: used 3DP Net to get ethernet/wifi drivers.
