Areca 5040-U3 8-bay eSATA/FW800/USB3/iSCSI

Hi can some help me I want to buy this but before I do can you tell what type of hard drive does Areca 5040-U3 8-bay eSATA/FW800/USB3/iSCSI take???? I wanted two buy a 2tb one but what type should I buy?

Thanks you for the fast reply so its a SATA II (3Gbit/s). So would any sata 2 hard drive work with this?
