Cannot find services for HP photosmart since changing to Windows 7

    Hi

Since getting my new computer and linking my HP Photosmart 7960 printer, I cannot find the services tab (?) to enable me to clean the print nozzles etc.

Also, I can no longer see the ink levels anywhere.

I would be most grateful if anyone can tell me how to access these services.

    Thank you

    Thank you for the welcome.

Yes, I installed the printer and new drivers when I first got my new computer (a few months ago now) and the printer connects and works fine, apart from the fact that I need to sort out how to clean the print heads and how to find out how much ink is left in each cartridge. On my last computer, a chart came up on screen which showed me which ink cartridge was getting low.

    Hi

    Following from HP website:

    Windows 7 driver functionality
Note the following limited functionalities with an in-OS driver:
No access to HP Solution Center. You will not have access to HP Solution Center ( ). However, see the workarounds at the end of this document for ways to accomplish tasks as you did before.

Limited functionality in HP Toolbox. You can still access the HP Toolbox ( ) with the in-OS driver. However, the HP Toolbox functionality is limited. For example, you are unable to check estimated ink levels. See the workarounds at the end of this document for ways to accomplish some common HP Toolbox tasks.

    Hope this helps and regards
