    Hard Drive Purchase Help


    I am going to buy a second HD. I know little about which are good. I am looking at a 500 GB drive. I am looking to stay in the $50 area. Can someone point out a good brand? I see Western Digital has a Caviar Green and a Caviar Blue? What is the difference, are they good? Can someone point out a better one to get? Thanks,

    For reliability the WD caviar Black is my choice, I have a 500 and a 1TB caviar Black w/no problems

    Hope you have as good a luck as i ;have, i don't know about you but i don't like the bare bones drive, personally i like to go with a boxed version.
    PS They cost alittle more that way but it gives me peace of mind
