Can someone recommend me the best CPU cooling and fan?

Just bought an AMD 955 and the stock cpu fan is Horrible. Its louder than my 360 and that saying something. I can not imagine playing anything like this.

So I must buy a new Cooler ASAP, but I don't know what to get. I want this as quiet as I can get it. Anyone have any newegg recommendations for me?

AMD X4 955 Black 3.2 Quad core processor!

    Thanks in advance!

Also a secondary CPU fan would be nice as well. Generic ATX case

Nice chip you have there. From what I've read, the Sunbeam Core Freezer is an excellent solution.

I also just bought a 955 BE, and my friends all recommended the coolermaster V8. it looks like a solid cooler, and i have room for it in my case, but i thought i'd look for a few other opinions.

I'm using a Thermalright Ultra 120 in my box, it holds my CPU at about 34C without a fan under light usage without a fan but silent. It needs a wide box though, have to run mine without the side panel on. The addition of an 80mm fan at 2900 rpm drops the core temp by about 3-4C.

Their is this one. Only you will have to do some research on what 120mm fan you'd want to attach to it. In the drop down menu it specifies a notchua sound optimized fan. Fabe Thermalright True Black 120 CPU Heatsink (Revision C)
