Windows 7: 1TB laptop HDD 7200 RPM

1TB laptop HDD 7200 RPM

I'm looking to spend up to $200 on a new hard drive for my laptop. My laptop can only take one HDD at a time unless I remove my optical drive and being that I play games on this thing, that is not happening. I tend to download a lot and a 500 GB HDD which came with my laptop is just not enough. I do not want a 5200 or 5400 RPM HDD, I want a 7200 RPM.

Newegg does not have what I'm looking for this time.
Being that there are 3TB HDDs for desktops, I'd think that there would exist somewhere a 1 TB 7200 RPM drive.

That 1tb and 7200 rpm combination is the problem, you can get either but not both together currently.

I'll just wait until such a drive is made then. I hope they aren't too far off.

Just a thought sine your looking for better performance in other posts.
Why not when one comes out getting a ssd for your OS and apps you use most of the time and the other as a external drive for storage?

Some one just made that drive. Think it was Samsung or Toshiba.

Help with Seagate 1.5 TB 7200.11 not found on BIOS
It wasn't until my 1.5 TB Seagate 7200.11 storage HDD died last week that I found this enormous info on the web about a possible malfunction that rendered these 7200.11 drives useless. Also read about a firmware update released by seagate to fix this problem. Now going back to last week, I was...

Difference between an I3 7200 RPM and I5 5400 RPM
I have a question. I know a 7200 RPM SATA hard drive is supposedly faster than a 5400 RPM SATA hard drive. And an I5-430 is faster than a I3-330m. But is an I5-430 with 5400 RPM hard drive worth $100 more than an I3-330 with a 7200 RPM? Or in other words, is the performance improvement of the...
