My computer can detect any cd or dvd, but the problem is can't detect dvd-rw.

What should I do to fix this problem?

You say it can detect any DVD but then you say it cannot detect a DVD-RW. What exactly do you mean?
Also there is no need to "SHOUT" on this Forum it is considered bad form.

Has the PC ever recognised a DVD-RW? Have you looked at the spec for you DVD Reader/Writer to see if it recognises -RW, some don't. How old is it?

If it;'s a dvd-rom it will read but will not write, if you could fill in your pc spec's we will have a better chance of helping you, also the make and model of the dvd drive

Go to the User CP at the top of this Forum and click Systen Spec. Fill in the details. If you don't know the spec of your PC then run Belarc Advisor. Is the problem you are having with just one disc? If so can you try it in another PC to see if there is an issue with the actual disc?
