Let me know when the backup is finished.

There are a couple of things which you should seriously consider doing regarding in your other disks.

Now that you are familiar with Partition Wizard, then I'll make a couple of recommendations but only after the backup is finished.

Make a fresh snip of the DiskManagement display AFTER the backup is finished.

I made a system image of C: earlier, before the Power Supply went totally out. It is on external drive. I am just now finishing the last step in Brink's tutorial for installing XP Mode. I will follow your advice and make a new system image of C: when the XP Mode is done. I bet I can watch a bit of the Spurs game while it proceeds.

This week, Nov 8 - 11, I will only be available on this machine from about 6 am till about 9 am and evenings after 7 pm intermittently. Maybe I could follow some instructions and post snips for you. Vacation relief and caring for granddaughters whose parents are "cruzin."

    A little cleanup:

    Your Disk 1:
Give partition E a name reflective of its contents.
Using Disk Managment, extend partition E to include the 2.1 GB unallocated space.
