I have only Vertex, and they are good. But I have no way to compare. There is some comparison discussions on the web. Here is one: NCIX FORUMS - OCZ Agility vs. Vertex series SSD? - OCZ Agility Indilinx 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 So...

If the games fit, keep them on the SSD - especially those that call a lot of subprograms.

Well I have alot of games from over the years, especially the new ones that are like 13GB. Would it still be okay to leave them on the HDD??

You will be OK to leave them on the HDD. Just select those that are most important to you and make a lot of access to the program files. But in principle there is no harm done if they are on the HDD.

Last question from me. The drive is actually going in my wife's pc and she has been having no end of issues for the last year, with HD blowing up the icing on the cake. The PC has Intel Storage manager installed and it sounds to me like, although the OCZ drives may be better/faster, the Intel X25-M option might be less risky in terms of it being a seemless instal. She isn't a heavy user, but hoping to earn some brownie points by giving her much faster program access.

Given that I'm not that familiar with hardware and trying to avoid divorce is Intel a safer bet?

Cheers Mike

I don't really know but I don't think it will make any difference. Both are Sata standard and should work the same. If you find a reasonably priced Intel, why not.
