You can always try this to overclock in future AMD OverDrive.

Ach does not work with our mobo.

Are you running the AMD "Quiet 'n' Cool" function in your bios? Likely you are, just switch it off.

The cool n quiet does not work for me. WEIRD huh.

I have solved how to OC my CPU within in the bios without any hassle now.

My MSI board and AMD Quad doesn't default to "Quiet 'n' Cool" unless selected in the Bios. For me it was a way to OC my board beyond 10% but still have it throttle back it's own accelerator to save energy and loose heat then throttle up on demand. Not likely a setting you want for gaming but it worked for a while. Now I'm just back to 100% stock settings as the differences only made for unexpected shut down issues !
