    Intel RST Vsr9 Driver

I just installed Win7 Pro on a new Intel X25-M 80GB SSD in a Dell XPS 430 on which the OS/apps are installed. I also have two HDs one for user data/pagefile/temp files and the other for backups. While reading around and getting advice on how to go about the install I saw several references to the Intel RST ver9 driver.

Looking in my device manger at all the various Intel related entries under system devices all the drivers seem to be Microsoft 2006. Should I be getting this driver from the intel website and installing somewhere or not relevant to my setup? If so which of the many entries is the driver related to as I don't understand the difference between them.

    Thanks for any advice

    Intel® Product Support Go here.

This is Intel sight link above. Go there. At the top of the page is
Automatically detect and update drivers and software

Click it and it should detect all the Intel driver updates needed.

Also you can do it manually from the page.

Book mark/ Add to Favorites and you will have the Intel page for future reference and checks.
Let us know how it goes.
