I'm starting to agree that it might be a motherboard issue, as it has been sitting for over an hour and hasn't gone back to sleep. (I turned it on and just left it, hoping maybe I'd get an answer here.)

When I say 'went to sleep' I mean the screen saver came on, then after the default 30 mins, the computer went into some kind of power saver mode or something, whatever windows 7 defaults at, and then nothing worked.

Try another motherboard then. No display means you can't see if its a software issue

    No Graphics

We still don't know what kind of mobo we are dealing with. Do this (your mobo should have a "beeper" that gives you a single beep for a succesful boot) turn of the computer and wait 60 secs. Turn back on and wait for a beep code. Tell us what beep code you get.

Fill out your hardware specs. (bottom left corner of your post or in your User CP)
