Blue screen caused from psu or motherboard or Windows 7?

I've been trying to chase down a problem with my Window 7 64 bit system here.
I do have AHCI set in the bios (raid now with these new drives,) and the newest Intel drivers, and have tried older drivers/MS etc too.
I had a Silverstone case that had passthru cables to act as hotswap slots. I wanted to use a smaller WD drive to back up my system. Everytime I insert the drive it bluescreens (I don't remember the #/info as I'm not willing to try it again on this setup with the ssd's and raid till I have an idea what it is!) If I boot with the drive installed it's fine. No problems removing it this second way either.
Now I have a Lian Li case with the same hardware and it has backplanes in it and it does the same thing when inserting a drive.
I have tried direct cable connections in both cases to the MB. I have tried replacing the psu as someone mentioned it might be from that (spike) to no avail. Tried different plugs, cables, drivers, cases, hard drives, etc to no avail. Reintalled many times etc etc

Now I have three SSD's in raid 0 and really need a backup solution (this current setup is the one in my info.) I have tried it again with this setup and it still does it. I don't want to risk screwing up the raid array and the ssds. I want to try to figure out if it's the motherboard or Windows. I don't think it's the psu anymore as it does it with two different psu's...

Any ideas and suggestions would be great.
    Thanks

Yes, I saw that. As I mentioned I don't have the blue screen info as I've since reinstalled, and don't want to screw up this raid array or my ssd's...
I was hoping to get more ideas or direction on where to go from here before I tried again...

I had this thread going before becasue I orignally thought it was the psu. Though I don't think it's that anymore really as I've replaced it.

I have run the Windows memory test and MemTest as well a bunch of times, it checked out good. I've tried it with and without the overclock, and with only 1 and 2 sticks instead of 4 all to no avail. If you think it would help I'll game, I'd like to figure out why I'm having these problems. I've spent way to much on these parts just to not be able to use them like they are made to be used...
    There are tests for psus?

ah, I see, I've checked the first psu I had with a multimeter a while ago, the 12V was a bit low at load (11.5-11.6V, a bit low but in spec) which is one of the reasons I bought this new one. I've not checked this new one as I didn't think it was it anymore as this new one has rated exceptionally high in every test I've read about it.
