Also, I was getting blue screens with the Version 9 RST drivers - here are the newer ones: intel drivers pour Raid/Sata/Ata/Ahci

(You still need version 9 to update your firmware though)

Also, don't run benchmark/s too many times. It will artificially slow your drive down.
So are you saying I should get http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sear....aspx?lang=eng ?

Here is the results from hdtune:

Here is the hybdrid which is rather disappointing. I thought it would be way faster than the HD below it:

and here is the samsung F3 1Tb:

The SSD looks real good. The typical OCZ pattern with the 2 dips. Mine does that too and I have seen it on others too.
But from the hybrid I would have expected more. Your 1TB HDD is better.

So the attention switches to the hybrid, why is it so pittiful and what can be done to remedy it.

What do the specs of the hybrid say about performance. So we know what to expect.

PS: I have no idea what this driver will do for you.

Heres the page for it: Momentus XT | 7200 RPM | Seagate

edit: I have to say that the Seagate website is one of the worst Ive seen, its a nightmare to navigate.

Ive installed all the drivers but I only get a WEI score of 5.9. Weakest link being the ssd. So something must be wrong. I fully expected the score to be in the mid 7s.
Sometimes the WEI doesn't check the primary disk and tests the other disks instead. Try disconnecting the other disks sata cables when you run the test.

Also if you type at an elevated command prompt winsat disk -drive C: then hit enter you will get a WEI value for different parimeters of the drive so you can see which part of the test is slowing down. I put mine below as an example.

Thanks for that, I ran your suggested test and got:

I notice that My ssd is set to PIO mode 4 and DMA disabled. Is that normal?
