That's understandable if you are upgrading from a lower processor to a higher one
but the man already has the top processor and he wants to get a lower one even though they claim similar performance which is not true intel users hyper threading to allow more bandwith amd doesnt have this feature
they have multi threads but not hyper threading to increase bandwith with that being said that i7 will still smoke us based on the speed of multi hyperthreads if that makes sense to any of you
I think he should just take a little more time and do more research I myself switched from intel to amd not only for the price but to try something new and unventured and when i switched i upgraded to a phenom II X 4 2.8 oc'ed to 3.22 from a P4 intel celeron 3.2 you can pretty much tell i made abetter choice from that perspective
