    Wanting to upgrade my RAM

    Well i bought a Acer Asipire notebook about 2 1/2 weeks ago. It has 3GB DDR3 Dual-Channel SDRAM. It tells me I am able to upgrade to 8GB, but I am only wanting to upgrade to 6GB at the most. I am having troubles finding the type of RAM i am needing. I could use all the help i can help.

    Here is more details about the laptop:

    Go to RAM Memory Upgrade: Dell, Mac, Apple, HP, Compaq. USB drives, flash cards, SSD at Crucial.com and put in your specs,

    I did this;
    Computer memory upgrades for Acer Aspire 5336 Laptop/Notebook from Crucial.com

    And it says your max ram is 4GB...and the laptop has 2 slots for RAM with 2GB being the max DIMM it will take. So, I'm not sure who is correct.

    Your spec say 8gb max. Acer says 4gb. you need to call and clarify with Acer which is correct. This should work but check to see with Acer if this Corsair is approved. The others listed were much pricier.
