There is something I learned through the years as an teenager, all ways buy the best of the best and then you don't have to worry about it for a few years

So you say that an i5 is basically the same as an i7? No really big differences?
Depends on which i5 and i7 your talking about.
The i5 750 and its replacement the i5 760, place higher in some benchmarks and reviews than the lower end i7 8xx and i7 9xx.
I'm sure some people will argue the point.
Here's a site where benchmarks suites are used to rank the various CPUs.
AnandTech CPU Benchmark
Some of the differences would not be noticed with non-benchmark usage.
Factor in the price, and you can decide for yourself.

Oky so that CPU will do and what about this board then? Intel Socket 1156 - Asus P7P55D Deluxe IP55 Motherboard w/A8 + 2LK + FWa + SATA2 RAID : Sybaritic - South African Online Computer Store
That is a great processor.
That motherboard is high end with alot of extras, if you think you'll use them it's fine, if not then look for a more reasonably priced one.
