New Webcam Needed - Buying Advice?

I've just discovered that my trusty old Creative Live! Cam Notebook Ultra isn't compatible with Windows 7 (no new drivers have been produced) so I'm in the market for a new cam.

Can anyone advise me as to the best manufacturer of webcams, nice quality for video chat, while being under £30 (preferably under £20, if possible). I'm a diehard Fujitsu fan, all my set-up is Fujitsu, so I'd like to stay brand loyal as far as possible, but in this case I'm willing to go for the best quality I can get at the lowest price.

    Any suggestions? :)

what creative cam have you got exactly?

vista drivers often work if installed in compatibility mode.

It's a fairly old model, it doesn't correspond to the one in the image on the website you linked me to, Stormy13. I'll give it a bash with those drivers and see what results. Thanks for the link! Much appreciated Stormy13 and Mickey.

No joy, I'm afraid. The model is a VF0070. I can't get the installer to respond after I plug in the camera to complete the installation, maybe because it isn't the same model of camera. I can download Vista drivers, so I'll try installing them in compatability mode like you suggested Mickey. Fingers crossed!

    ...

It worked! Spot on! Thank you!

Funny thing is all I used to search for the one I linked to was the name you posted,

    Creative Live! Cam Notebook Ultra

and the name for yours with the model number VF0070 is,

    WebCam Live! Ultra for Notebooks

close but not quite the same name.

Anyway good to here you found the Vista driver for it and it worked.
