windows sync centre versus windows 6 mobile

there appears to be a problem with syncronising windows 7201 with windows mobile 6.1 on Imate ultimate 9502.
issue is the sync centre believes a sync has been carried out when in fact it has not.
i have deleted the partner ship shut down the phone and the computer created a new partnership with still the same results.
this could be a problem for business users such as myself i work from home in the eveniengs and need my diary updated.

Wow. How did you get your iMATE recognized by Win 7 at all? It seems to me you're three-fourths of the way there. Have you tried the Outlook on/off trick in https://www.sevenforums.com/network-sharing/22581-mobile-device-centre-outlook-sync-problems.html#post243796 ?

OK. I fixed my problems. First, I went into computer management, services and apps, services, and selected windows mobile-based device connectivity. I then changed the setting auto-delay to auto.

Then, I downloaded the new drivers, which self installed. Et voila! I'm in business.

    HTH.

Hi i have managed to get conneceted but the diary dies not syncronise niether does the contacts etc the only thing that seems to work is the files.
this issue appears to be a Bullguard and windows issue as i have managed a complet sync with bullguard UNISTALLED and the windows fire wall turned off then do a complete shut down restrat on both the phone and the computer then you should get a smooth syncronisation. i have spoken to Bull guard they are aware of the issue but have not heard from Windows

I was way too optimistic. Everything worked beautifully that first day. Everything. However, since I disconnected my iPAQ 211, I haven't been able to get the Windows Mobile Device Manager and my iPAQ to even shake hands. This apparently is a common problem--works once then stops working.

If I ever get this working again, I'll report back. I'll also watch this thread in hopes that some genius solves the problem before i do (definitely not a genius).
