I think for us "normal users" these drives are pretty useless. The large drives (e.g. 1TB) where read/write speed would matter are unaffordable (up to $10.000) and for the little drives dedicated to run the OS, read/write speed is pretty irrelevant - it is access time that counts in that case. And normal SSDs are pretty good at that.
