    Which hard drive is more reliable?

    The story is...
    I bought the WESTERN DIGITAL WD15EVDS 1.5TB AV-GP SATA2 9(nine) months ago
    and yesterday suddenly has stop responding,i tried everything,but is dead/broken.
    I have 3 years warranty so today i took it back to the shop,they check it and as i said they said,is dead/broken and i can take anything i like in the same price.
    I use this hard disk for E:\ for storage and downloads 24 hours per day,my pc never turn off.
    So which hard drive is more reliable?
    WESTERN DIGITAL WD15EVDS 1.5TB AV-GP SATA2
    OR?
    SEAGATE BARRACUDA 7200.11 ST31500341AS 1.5TB

    If you have any other suggestion please do,but have in mind that i need a hard disk who can withstand the never stop work.

    You might want to look at WD Cavier Black, has 32mb cache and 5 year warranty. I have two of them with never a problem.

    I would stick with the WD. The Seagate 7200.11 was a miserably bad drive by Seagate. Here is just one news story I found about this issue;
    Seagate barracuda 7200.11 drives failing- The Inquirer

    I've been switching to the WD Black SATA III series 64MB cache with a 5 year warranty.

    Eeny, meeny, miny, moe. Really only two kinds of drives out there. Drives that have failed and those about to. So the moral of the story is your only as good as your last successful back up ! I say WD by a slim margin.
