well done on the bios glad it sorted the ram out as for the fan i leave you in stormy13 good care(but check the bios settings for the fan if any)

hey stormy, i don't have the intel(R)qst on the smart fan option. just enabled or disabled.
should i download a driver from gigabyte?
If it isn't set it to eenabled, and if it is a 4 wire/pin fan set that to PWM.
And no you don't need a driver, drivers don't do anything for bios settings.
so how come i have intel(R)qst on the manual but not on the board itself ?

program to change the speed of the fan but read the instructions carefully
well, somehow the fan went down so i think it's ok now.
