Hdd disapears

    Why are you useing hibernate on a desktop, it was made for laptops to save power. Most people use sleep mode which can be set in power options to turn off your monitor and hdd's on any schedule you want. There are way fewer prob's useing sleep

    Windows 10 Pro. EFI boot partition, full EFI boot

    Right click my computer -> manage
    Select event viewer -> Windows Logs -> System

    On the right hand side select "filter current log"
    Check Event level: critical, warning and error and press OK

    My HDD isn't recognized by win7 after it comes out of sleep. Is there anyone who has any idea why this is happening. its an IDE HDD
