    Apple keyboard support

    Hi,

I have a Apple wired USB keyboard that im using on Win 7 Pro x32, (dont ask weird i know, but i prefer it) It works fine, just some keys are located in different places.

e.g the @ is number 2 on a apple keyboard etc

Any way to get a setting or a driver to rectify the issue?

    Cheers

Welcome to Seven Forums Ghost1986. You might try remapping the keys, here is a small program that should work:

Download KeyTweak 2.3.0 Free - Would you like a free keyboard remapper for Windows? - Softpedia

You might have to run it in compatibility mode, I haven't used it myself. Good luck. A Guy

Cheers A guy, Key tweak is a nice program, but unfortunatley problem is still not solved. The program is not showing all the keys i have on my current keyboard so i cant remap the ones i want to, its not a massive problem but if anyone has any other ideas let me know. Cheers

    Ghost1986,
Check out the comments from users on the illuminated keyboard, several users used to Mac boards say it's far better, all love it. Great tactile feel, low slung and it lights up, man it's the bomb ! Just saying.....

Thanks for your suggestion A Guy

I also use an Apple keyboard on a PC. I have tried a wide range of PC keyboards (including the one suggested), but once you get used to the Apple, there is no going back and no comparison in quality. I have tried several methods to gain the missing functions that I want, but none worked. I installed the Key Tweak and remapped the none working keys so that I now have a fully functioning Apple keyboard

You can save and load different remaps at click. Useful if you want different dedicated funtions for say media, games etc. You can also restore to original with one click.
