    usb controller bandwidth exceeded


    Hello : For the last few days , when I try and view video with my 2.0usb vidbox nw03 , I get this error . I have updated the driver from the manufacturers web site with no success .. Ideas ??

    Where is this device connected to on the PC? It sounds like you have all your USB devices connected to the back of the computers I/O panel and one device is using more bandwidth. Try adding a separate USB PCI card to your system and then connect you USB device to that card. With the new card added, it will use a different controller and bus and it should stop your error message.

    figured it out - hooked up a powered usb hub and all is well ... Not enough power can cause this - so I read -- Google is great ..
