    Alphabetical order on external drive


    hi,
    once again sorry for my english
    I have an external hard disk (WD Elements 1 TB) and when I explore the content from the tv folders and files are not in alphabetical order, actually there are some groups sorted by name but there's not a unique list sorted by name. It's something like that:


    A
    B
    C
    ...Z
    A
    B
    C
    ...Z

    and so on.
    It seems that the tv software sort files by the date the file has been written on disk; I was wondering if there's a program that can help me or another solution.
    (tv firmware is updated I can't solve anything on the tv side I have to find a solution on pc/hd side)

    It sounds like Windows Explorer is set to sort by date modified.

    Open Windows Explorer > View menu > Sort By > and choose Name.

Downloads in alphabetical order

I had a recent change that occurred to my listing of downloads. The order is now numerical by date and not alphabetic as I prefer. I tried changing thru the options but to no avail. How can I make it alphabetic with the folders listed first?
right now theyre just in there in the order i saved them in. is there a way to arrange them alphabetically?
:sarc:I would like to put in alphabetical order the start menu items I have pinned to the start menu, it is doing my head in not being able, as it is the items appear listed as you have posted them, can anybody help please.
