Nah, 12GB works fine. I kinda wish I would have done it, but the 4GB chips are not worth it. Not very many people ever need more than 6GB anyways. John probably did it just to brag
He's not the only one who likes to brag is he, DiamondNRG

Yeah yeah I'm sure you just hate that rig, I mean those i7's are a load of s@%t, if I were you I would just throw that junk in the bin and start again get a nice AMD setup, if you want you can pay me to take all that rubbish off your hands, say about $50 sound fair.

I'm thinking of buying a 24", but not sure if I should wait for a touch one for Windows 7. How much was yours, and is it HD?
Yeh it is hd. Cost me £300 here in the uk. Only thing I don't like are the touchscreen style buttons. Would prefers ones I can actually feel.

Decided the screen was wasted on my hd2600xt so upgraded to a sapphire hd4850 toxic edition. Much better. I can play games at the monitors native resolution. Have a feeling I'll end buying a new component every week now. Before u know it I'll have a brand spanking new i7 system. :)
