2nd hard drive not listed after OS reinstall

I decided to reinstall my OS this afternoon, and all went well. I have however got a problem with my 2nd hard drive, it is not listed in the drives section. I guess I'm supposed to format it in the disk management section, but I'm unsure of what steps I need to follow from there.

anyone know what procedure I need to follow to get it formatted and listed?

if the drive appears in Disk Management, you may just need to assign it a drive letter from there.

If you right-click in the Unallocated area can you choose 'new simple volume'?

This guide might give you a little insight:
post back if you have more questions, good luck!

I think that fixed it, thank you. I was looking at the new simple volume option when I was trying to figure it out myself. I didn't proceed with it in case it wasn't the right step to take. that is why I tried asking for help online first.
