USB controller: OpenHCD is not Enhanced...
I have recently built myself an AMD Phenon II x6 based computer with an Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 motherboard. The mobo features two USB3 ports and 12 USB2 ports. However... the Device Manager lists the USB controllers as:
+ NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller
+ NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Root Hub
+ Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Controller
+ Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Controller
+ Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Controller
+ Standard OpenHCD USB Host controller
+ Standard OpenHCD USB Host controller
+ Standard OpenHCD USB Host controller
+ Standard OpenHCD USB Host controller
+ USB Root Hub
+ USB Root Hub
+ USB Root Hub
+ USB Root Hub
+ USB Root Hub
+ USB Root Hub
+ USB Root Hub
And this is with no devices attached.
What are all those USB1.1 (OpenHCD) controllers doing there? There are not supposed to be any USB1.1 ports on the mobo.
Except for the USB3 controller, all controllers list Microsoft 6.1.7600.16385 driver. I have tried to uninstall all of the OpenHCD and scanned for hardware changes but it just re-installs the same setup. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
