    different types of IPS panels


    the time has come and i need to get my self a new monitor, i have decided i want to get something worth while and want to go with an IPS panel... come to find out there are many different types of IPS panels... haha of course

    i was wondering if anyone had an indepth explanation of the different types of ips panels (h-ips, s-ips, etc...)

    from what i have read so far i believe i want an s-ips panel, because i prefer sharper images... but im not exactly sure

    any light that anyone can shed would be much appreciated. thanks!

    I discovered above link only a few hours ago, but it has quite a bit of detail on panels generally, including IPS.

Two Control Panels

Been using the RC for a while now and the only real bug I've noticed is that there are two control panel icons on my desktop toolbar. I've tried unchecking control panel by right clicking the desktop-->personalize-->change desktop icons but it keeps reappearing. Any ideas?
