    Windows 7 and windows XP have different mouse acceleration


    Hi,
    Does Windows 7 have different mouse acceleration than Win XP?
    I notice that I´m not very comfortable using the mouse in Windows 7 as I am in Win XP.

    Win XP flows much easier and faster.
    Win 7 drags a bit and I sometimes I have to pick up the mouse to get from one corner of the screen to the other.
    By the way, I haven´t got any drivers installed, just the plain mouse.

    Is there a way to tell it to move the same as in Win XP?

    This is a problem to me because I use XP at work and 7 at home, and since I work in design I have to get used to Win 7 mouse movement every time I get home.

    Thanks, I´ve done that before but that doesn´t change Win 7 mouse acceleration, just the speed.
    I would like it to behave as in Win XP.
