    64bit vs 32bit

    Hello all

Have just got myself a 1TB Samsung HDD, Lovely.

What I`d like to know is when I reformat from FAT32 to NTFS should I use the 64bit
format or 32bit? I`m fairly sure I wasn`t dreaming when I noticed the option?

If it is possible, can I use 64bit format with 32bit OS and if so does it make a difference. Also with a 64bit OS, does a 32bit formatting slow disk transfer rate?

I`m, as ever, perplexed and need some reliable guidance and information.

    Thanks all, Stoo

You might have that confused with OS type.
    NTFS is pretty much NTFS.
