Question about my computer and core i7

Hi to everyone. I was wondering is my computer can support core i7? it's a dell vostro 230.(fat tower) my current processor is Pentium(R) Dual core E5400 2.70Ghz/2.69Ghz and 2gb of ddr3 rams. can it hold core i7 thanks!:)

No it can't as it uses LGA775
Only P4, Celeron D,Pentium D, Pentium Dual Core, Core 2 Duo/Quad/Extreme and Xeon CPUs are supported

The best upgrade you can get is a Core 2 Quad Q9xxx
