HDD Raid 0 to SSD help

Edit: New to forums! I am going to post in installation & setup since i think that is more appropriate.

    Hey guys! Happy new year!

I was wondering what would be the best way to setup my new SSD?

Ive never had to swap from big to small so im looking for a little help to point me in the right direction. Currently im using 1tb raid 0 HDD and decided to upgrade to a Samsung 128gb SSD. I know that the easiest way to go about this would be to create a system image, do a clean install of W7 on my SSD, and to restore the image to my new SSD but i cannot seem to shrink my image or my C: partition under 250gb or so.

Any tips or things i should delete so that i can make my partition or image smaller for my new SSD?

Ive looked everywhere online and cant seem to figure this out lol.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    -Ryan

are you saying that you don't have Windows7 on an installation disk..?

ie. that the machine came with Windows7 pre-installed..??
