how to force IGP to run faster

i have x4500mhd(laptop) and i was wondering if theres a way to kind of Oc it or force it to run at highest speed all the time.

ideally, you want the graphics (and main processor) to run at highest speed only when it needs to - not all the time.

less speed = less noise = longer battery life = cooler machine = longer life machine probably

Short of setting the powerplan to 'High' when plugged in - it's really not a good idea to OC a laptop.

Laptops run hot as it is - using a software based OC app just isn't advisable.

already did that, also using custom driver, game boost, g boost, and some other stuff

Why is my OCZ Vertex 2 SSD faster than my Corsair Force 3 SSD
I have a 60GB OCZ Vertex 2 SSD and a Corsair Force 3 120gb SSD. Using them on an Acer 5739g laptop, I see windows boot from cold to the Google homepage in 42 seconds using the OCZ drive and 53 seconds using the Corsair Drive. Games like Skyrim also seem to respond much faster with the OCZ...

i saw some graphs says win7 is faster than xp... but is it really faster? anyone did a real usage test? like can you really feel it's faster? hehe still undecided what i should use.... had pre-installed vista basic on my new laptop.... damn thats a really <edit> os, slow and not...
