    HDD Unallocated space issue.

    Hello,

I recently installed multiple Operating Systems and decided to completely reinstall my pc including wiping my HDD except for 1 partition.

I kept 1 partition alive which is a partition containing data NTFS nothing much important for this context.

Now i wanted to delete all partition and form 1 to split them up later again.
The issue atm is that i got 1 "partition" with 200gb unallocated space, 1 real partition --> the 50gb one NTFS, and another "partition" with another 25gb unallocated space.

The issue currently is that the 2 unnallocated parts are not stacking or seen as 1 part of unallocated space.

I cannot figure it out. I installed Windows 7 on the 200gb unallocated space part so its now a normal NTFS partition but then im still stuck with the 20gb one. I can form a new usable partition but i cannot seem to merge the 20gb unallocated one into the 200gb one.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Tnx in advance.

A screenshot of your disk management would help.

The 519MB is taken from the C:
The 23GB is taken from nothing, i can form it to be a usable disk but i dont want it too, it needs to be merged into the C: one but it wont let me.

With Partition Wizard (link above) you can move D all the way to the right. Then you can combine the 2 free spaces and add them to C. Here is a tutorial on Partition Wizard: Partition Wizard : Use the Bootable CD

I would also suggest to make a backup of D before moving it. You never know what might happen. Usually nothing - but on a bad day?

Addition: If you want to do the move with disk management, that is a bit more complicated. You can backup or image the D partition. Then delete it and consolidate the 3 free spaces. Then add part of that free space (less the size of the original D) to the C partition. Then recreate the D partition in the remainder of the free space and move your data from the backup into it.

It only lets me expand the C: disk with the 500mb part, i cannot use the 23gb to expand the rest, i can however make a new partition from the 23GB(which i do not want)

There may be still a volume in the 23Gb part which you have to delete to gain unallocated space. Then try to expand C to it. It may also only need a second expansion step. If you have more problems, post a new snip of disk management so that I can see how it looks right now.

Btw: you can embed the snip into your post with the paperclip on the top right of the posting window - much easier.

Sounds like you need to use move/resize.
Select D and take the Unallocated Space After and make it the Unallocated Space Before.
    Apply the operation.
Data from D will be moved forward.
The unallocated space will be moved between C and D.
    You can then resize C.
