Mouse problems in Windows 7 (64-bit)

Mouse clicking problem on Win 7

Hi all
I have recently switched over to Win 7 64 bit from Vista ultemate 32 bit and since my mouse left click does not activate main commands, just secondary and sometimes not even. I have to use my middle button, yes the rotation wheel to click my commands.
I have looked and tried to set up my mouse settings to no avail.
Has anybody found a similar problem or is ther a setting menue I can access?

You guys just need to reinstall the set point drivers but right click and use Vista compatiblity mode when you do it.

The first attempted installation will usually fail but then just wait approx ten seconds and the Win7 compatiblity mode will pop up, just click to reinstall with Win7 settings and they will work after that.

Hi Chev,

I am having the same problem that was listed before with my mouse not functioning correctly, how do i reinstall the set point drivers?

Regards,
Kris

What fixed it for me was moving my mouse onto the sides of a window, like where the extend icons appear. It changed the mouse back to normal instantly.
